Ain't no party like a S__________ party?

Alright so I am not the party type, not too into clubbing unless it's a club that's got good music. But a friend of mine has been bugging me for a minute about this thing called "Shuffle" that goes down once a month down at Revival. The concept of "Shuffle" is real simple, basically they just shuffle through songs from genre to genre, so you can be bumping to some R. Kelly and next thing you know ACDC is on. After watching some of their videos off their youtube channel, I was convinced, because you can see how into it the crowd it, the music is REAL LIVE and you know when 1LoveT.O./Remix fam is in the building it's going to be a real PARTY. So with that said since their last one was yesterday, I am thinking of hitting up the one in June.

Shout to 1LoveT.O. & Remix (Get Give Money, Make Change)

The best coach you've never heard of

Don Meyer is one of the best coaches in basketball, that you've never heard of. To everybody else, he is just a coach. To everybody involved in coaching, he is a legend. As of January 10th, 2009 he passed Bob Knight for the most wins in NCAA Men's Basketball with 903 wins. But his story goes deeper than that....

Brothers

I've been meaning to share this interesting story told to me by my brother's school's basketball coach (whew). One day, after catching one of their games, I went up to introduce myself to my brother's coach. She looked at me like she was happy to meet me, then she proceed to tell me a neat story about my brother and his certain jersey number of choice.

I remember this one day where my brother came home and cried, but I never realized why. Until that afternoon. His coach told me when they were choosing their jersey numbers, my brother wanted to wear "21", but another kid in front of him had another picked that number. While it never clicked in my head initially what's the significant behind "21", I soon realized why he was so upset, because my brother wanted to wear my jersey number. I have to admit, I got a little choked up. I didn't know how to feel, I was happy, proud and a little worried.

For my brother and I because of our age difference (10 years) we don't really do much together and we didn't really connect until this past summer when we spent every moment of everyday with one another since my mom was away. My mom has always told me how much my brother looks up to me, how when he gets something (usually food) he always share with me, how when I am out he'll stay up to wait for me. I never grasp how to be a brother until this summer, I never knew how much he meant to me until this summer and I never knew how much I love him until now.

What worries me is this kid looks up to me, and I haven't exactly been the role model type. It worries me that he'll grow up and do the things that I do. After hearing about the jersey story, I realized how much I am not doing for myself, how much I need to do to better myself, how much I need to do to be a better brother and a better role model. I love this kid to death, I am sure everybody out there who has siblings will know exactly what I am talking about.

I have a problem

For those who know me, know that I love my music and my iPod. Ever since copping it back in '05 I've been carrying it everywhere I go. Since I got the OG 5th Gen iPod (60gb) and knowing how I download music by the gigabyte, it's a surprise I have lasted this long without ever reaching full capacity. I always like to keep things fresh deleting stuff I don't listen to no more (or wondered why I even downloaded in the first place). But recently it's been kind of tough since I am very sentimental, and I hate to part with some of the files. This has also created another problem, I know that one day I will go over that 60gbs (55.68) and I know I will need a new iPod. But I love this one so much I can't come to the fact that I will have to part with it one day. I hate having to throw away things, because I feel like everything has a sentimental value and it's very difficult for me to ditch things. Well I am still alright at the moment floating around 10 gbs, I really don't want to delete anything or get a new iPod (because I'll miss it). I just wanted to rant about this that's all.

LMAO!!! Melo Pau

First thing I saw when I got home, had me dying because it's freakin' hilarious. Ladies and Gents...allow me to introduce to you Melo Pau (no photoshop necessary).

Karma!!!

I must say I have the utmost respect for this dude because of his career of hitting big shots in clutch situations and the fact that he's a winner (7 NBA Championships) . But as a Kings fan, I hated him for this. So when I heard he has no idea where all of his seven rings are, I couldn't help but let out a big grin followed with a "HA! HA!".

Following a videoconference with NBA greats Robert Horry, Dominique Wilkins and Bernard King about the most amazing moments of their careers, Horry admitted that he doesn’t know the exact whereabouts of his seven championship rings.

"Honestly, I don't know where they are right now!" Horry started, laughing. "I just moved, so I think that they're in a box somewhere in my house. The movers weren't supposed to touch it, but they did. I used to keep them in a jewelry box in my bathroom, but I think that they're in the house somewhere."

Dude probably hired a Kings fan to help him move. Karma is a female dog.

Hey Ma I'm on Perez Hilton.com (sort of)

Alright so I mentioned in my previous post about one of my videos from the So Far Gone Tour where Drake give a shout out to (his rumoured) girlfriend Rihanna and how it's been getting mad views well, turns out it was posted on 2Dopeboyz. Well I got a call today from a friend (who is a Perez Hilton addict) that my video is on perezhilton.com. I was like "oh snap, that is pretty cool" although I don't know how I could be excited because it's just a video I took, it's not like I am in the video or even if I am in the video it's not exactly a good thing to be on that site. But it's still cool to find something you're associated with to be on one of the more well known sites out there.

This is a lil OD

So this video that I took from the Drake show of him performing "Every Girl" has been getting hits (views) like crazy. I thought I posted those videos from the show just so I can share the experience. But thanks to the recent news of him hooking up with Rihanna, and the fact that he gave her a shout out (personally I think it was because of her nudie pictures) the view count for that video has sky rocketed. It was at around 1400 last night, then 4400 at around 1pm yesterday. When I left my house last night at 6pm it was already at 14000 views. I just got home and checked again, it's at 55030 (actually count). My email inbox also got spammed with like comment notices for the video as well. It's a little crazy and kind of amazing watching the view count jump like that. Anyways thats way.

UPDATE
I just figured out why I got so many hits http://2dopeboyz.okayplayer.com/2009/05/22/drake-best-i-ever-had-skeemix-f-r-kelly-no-tags/ Shake from 2dopeboyz posted it on they're site, that explains a lot.
